BEST HOTELS IN JERSEY

Located just 22km from mainland France and historically part of the Duchy of Normandy, Jersey has retained its long French heritage, which is reflected in bilingual road signs, rural cider houses and quirky pétanque clubs.

Jersey, the largest of the Channel Islands, is nine miles long and eight miles wide and criss-crossed by leafy country roads. Famous as one of the sunniest corners of Britain, the island has a tropical feel in parts with palm trees and wide white sandy beaches.

Here you can spend the day at Jersey Zoo, part of the Durrell Foundation, which was founded by the late writer and naturalist Gerald Durrell (discover our trip to Corfu with his wife Lee Durrell). You can also go beach hopping in the south of the island or explore the Jersey War Tunnels, an underground network of tunnels built by the Germans during World War II.

Whatever you’ve got planned for your Jersey holiday, you’ll want a great base from which to enjoy it, which is why we’ve rounded up the best Jersey hotels for 2022.

Whether it’s taking advantage of the Ayush wellness spa with its indoor pool, hydrotherapy suite and Ayurvedic treatments at the Hôtel de France or the starred cuisine of the Club in St Helier, discover our selection of the best Jersey hotels.
